Arachnid inspired Vader Created Using Upcycled Materials

Arachnide Vader

My Arachnid-Inspired Vader reimagines the Star Wars icon through the lens of nature and mechanical design, blending organic and industrial influences. Built from upcycled materials and e-waste, this sculpture explores the balance between precision and chaos — the structured armor of Vader merging with the complexity and tension of arachnid anatomy.

  • Materials Used: Recycled materials such as: wire, track spikes, ball bearings, resistors, ram, computer chips, data cables, adding machine keys, gears and other miscellaneous parts from adding machines, airplanes, and typewriters.

  • Date Completed: 2013
